Day of Resistance One Ounce Silver Round "Come and Take it"

In partnership with the American Open Currency Standard, Day of Resistance is releasing its official silver round - The COME AND TAKE IT Second Amendment Medallion.

This .999 fine silver medallion bears the famous image of the Concord Minute Man of 1775 statue from Massachusetts on the obverse and COME AND TAKE IT with crossed AR-15s on the reverse.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

-Amendment II, Constitution of the United States

This medallion is being released on February 23 (.223) as we both celebrate our right to protect ourselves and stand, unwavering, in our resolve to resist the federal gun grab that has targeted our self-defense rifles - most notably the AR-15 which, as you already know fires .223 Remington ammunition.

This .999 fine silver medallion is minted with a satin finish and is bullion priced at only $2.99 over spot (that's less than silver eagles in low quantities) to encourage you to stack. Most collectors will pick up a tube of twenty of these, both for their collection and as an investment.

This limited edition medallion features the minute man on it's obverse and the ever-popular "Come & Take It" phrase on the reverse floating above crossed AR-15s which have come under heavy fire from the media and the President in recent months.

This beautiful medallion was created as a token of our right to bear arms. Minted on an AOCS approved, .999 pure silver medallion, this piece represents a movement of proud Americans who will peaceably assemble on February 23 (.223) to tell the federal government that they have no authority to take away our ability to protect ourselves.

“The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.” - Thomas Jefferson

This most basic right has been at the cornerstone of the American tradition since before we were even founded as an independent nation from England.

While none approve of the misuse of weapons or the pain and suffering at the hands of armed madmen, we are able to understand that the very right for law-abiding citizens to be armed is at the foundation of our protection from such men

As the sacred latin phrase says "abusus non tollit usum"

Which means "abuse does not take away use, i.e., is not an argument against proper use"
This is far from the first time a government has tried to grab our guns. It's not even the first time our government has tried. Throughout history in Russia, in Germany, even in the Texas War of Independence.

In 1835 "Texians" stood up against Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea of the Mexican Army when he tried to take away their cannon. Before the battle of Gonzales, which many consider the beginning of the Texas Revolution, they raised a flag for the Mexicans to see. It boldly stated the words "Come and Take It."

On January 16, 2013, President Barack Obama issued 23 executive actions against your 2nd amendment Constitutional right to bear arms. He did this without the consent of Congress which in itself, violates the foundation of the Constitution and the co-equal branches of government.

In response to these unconstitutional actions by the President, on .223, February 23, 2013 the American people will stand together in defiance to protect the right that protects ALL of our rights, the 2nd Amendment! They will organize locally so that they may band together neighbor to neighbor and reassert their community's right to determine their own destiny!

This medallion is more than just a commemorative token from an event. It is another way of resisting the Federal Government.

Since the beginning of the 20th century our government and governments around the world have distanced themselves from gold and silver as they not only drowned us in a sea of debt, but actually transformed our currency from claims for gold and silver to a debt-based currency.

Every ounce of silver you own is one more vote of nofaith in the federal government. See the Why Silver? page above for more information.

Silver Proof Coin - Cook Islands 2013 $50 Five Ounce 5oz Mother Of Pearl Zeppelin

Coin Description

A breathtaking work of precious metal minting, highlighted by a core of lustrous, genuine Mother of Pear, this imposing, exclusive tribute to aeronautical pioneer Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin (1838-1917) and his creation of the rigid airship – universally known as 'the Zeppelin'.

Inspired by hot-air balloons whilst serving as a volunteer for the Union Army during the 1861-65 American Civil War, von Zeppelin spent several decades refining his vision of a rigid airship until, in 1900, the first successful airship was launched – the Zeppelin LZ1. Used for both military and civilian transport, von Zeppelin's important invention had safely transported over 34,000 passengers on more than 1,600 flights by 1914. Unique, dramatic and imposing, this exclusive legal tender coin forms an inspiring, innovative celebration of a truly Golden Age in the history of aviation.

Struck to the height of Proof quality from a massive FIVE TROY OUNCES of .999 fine silver, and measuring a gargantuan 65mm in diameter, this spellbinding legal tender $50 coin is perhaps most notable for the large, authentic Mother of Pearl insert. Glistening with iridescent beauty, the Mother of Pearl carries a stunning design, with one of the most famous German airships, the Graf Zeppelin, portrayed above New York as it completed the first trans-Atlantic commercial passenger flight in 1928.

As with its predecessor, the stunning 2012 $50 Titanic Mother of Pearl 5oz Silver Proof, the tiny worldwide mintage of the 2013 $50 Zeppelin 5oz Silver Proof was instantly devastated by demand. With our allocation strictly limited, and no chance of securing more stock, this pioneering precious metal Proof will be available for a short time only. Do not miss this exclusive opportunity!

2013 Wood Bison Silver Bullion Coin - Canadian Wildlife Series

The 2013 Wood Bison Silver Bullion Coin features a depiction of the animal galloping in a display of strength and endurance. Similar to the two prior releases, the image is framed within a circular area with the inscription “Canada” above and “Fine Silver 1 oz Argent Pur” below.

The fineness of “9999″ is included within the image area. The reverse design is by Canadian artist Emily Damstra.

Although the coins are part of a bullion series with corresponding pricing and availability, a maximum of one million will be produced by the Royal Canadian Mint Ottawa facility. The mintage limit and the appeal of the alternating designs provides the potential for appreciation outside of the bullion value.

The concept of limited mintage bullion releases has been used by other world mints. The RCM’s Wildlife series seems to have achieved a measure of success and popularity with bullion investors and coin collectors. This may set the stage for similar series in the future.

The “Wood Bison” design was announced at the World Money Fair in Berlin. The RCM has indicated that the coins will soon be available through their network of bullion distributors, although no exact date has been specified.

Perth Mint 2013 Silver Bullion Privy Mark Coin Releases

This year The Perth Mint will be releasing three silver bullion coins featuring privy marks.

Traditionally, a privy mark is a small mark of differentiation in the design of a coin added for the purpose of identifying the mint.

The Perth Mint revived the ancient practice with a memorable series of silver bullion Kookaburra releases during the 1990s.

This year we are issuing Australian Kookaburra and Australian Lunar silver bullion coins featuring the addition of privy marks.

Each release is individually approved in law as a new Australian legal tender coin with its own mintage arrangement. (see Mintage Policy – 3. Coin Variations).

The 2013 releases, which will appear in February, comprise:
